What's new this year?
We heard you - the workshops are longer and you will rotate through ALL FOUR WORKSHOPS in small groups—giving you an opportunity to work side-by-side with the artists as they teach their craft, share their stories, and spark your creativity.
Each maker will lead a 90-minute, hands-on workshop rooted in upcycled art and design.

What does the day look like?
Doors open at 8:30am with the workshops beginning at 9:15am.
You’ll participate in two workshops in the morning, enjoy a social lunch break, then complete two more in the afternoon. To keep your creativity fueled, we'll provide morning and afternoon snacks as well as lunch—all included with your ticket.
Open to guests ages 16+ and all crafting levels!

Scrappy Squares
Give yarn a second chance! Learn how to crochet classic granny squares using a colorful mix of donated and leftover yarn. These simple stitched blocks are the building pieces for just about anything—blankets, bags, clothes, and more. Whether you're brand-new to crochet or looking to refresh your skills, you’ll discover how small scraps can come together to make something beautiful, useful, and unique.
Woven Words
Turn scraps into stories! Learn the basics of both weaving and bookmaking as you craft a unique accordion-style book with handmade woven covers. Using a simple cardboard loom, you’ll weave with yarn, fabric, and paper remnants—mixing textures and colors to make something truly your own. Then, fold and bind the pages into a zig-zagging, stand-up book that’s perfect for journaling, sketching, or gifting.
Dangling Delights
Create one-of-a-kind hanging sculptures that sparkle in the sun, jazz up a wall, or make a statement on your ears! In this playful workshop, you'll learn how to pierce, link, and assemble an eclectic mix of materials—think beads, buttons, and baubles! Get ready to tinker, twist, and turn discarded odds and ends into dazzling décor or wearable art.
Assembled Awakenings
Unleash your inner tinkerer in this playful assemblage workshop where discarded bits become unexpected treasures. Using a curated mix of reusable materials like vintage papers, broken jewelry, found objects, fabric scraps, and monoprints, you’ll layer, glue, and arrange to create a one-of-a-kind mixed media piece that reflects your personal story or point of view. This is a space for play not perfection. Let the materials guide your imagination!
