Join our team as a Donations Coordinator — the hands-on hub of Resource Depot’s reuse mission! In this fast-paced, active role, you’ll manage the full journey of donated materials, from coordinating with donors to intake, sorting, processing, and moving items for resale, redistribution, or proper diversion. You’ll stay on your feet, keep things organized, and ensure donations are handled efficiently and with care. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys working with people, and wants to make a meaningful impact on sustainability and creativity every day.
What You’ll Do:

Welcome donors and coordinate donation intake via appointments, walk-ins, and pickups.

Unload, move, sort, and organize donated materials, keeping storage and sorting areas safe and efficient.

Assess materials for resale, redistribution, or proper diversion by working closely with retail and merchandising teams to keep materials flowing smoothly.

Track donations, assist with acknowledgments, and support donor communication.

Guide and support volunteers with donation intake, sorting, and prep.

Develop community relationships to support material redistribution and proper diversion.

Help with logistics for retail promotions, events, and fundraising initiatives.

Ensure all materials are handled efficiently, creatively, and with care.

Tech-savvy with experience in POS systems, CRM, social media, and digital tools.

Holds a valid Florida driver’s license.
Full-Time / Exempt | Salary: $40K–$45K (DOE) + health insurance reimbursement & PTO
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, with occasional evenings/weekends for events.

As a Teaching Artist for Resource Depot you will help support our outreach efforts and lead hands-on afterschool and weekend workshops for various educational outreach programs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire creativity, promote sustainability, and engage with diverse communities. This is an independent contractor position with flexible hours based upon program needs.
What We’re Looking For:
-Bachelor’s degree (or 2 years of relevant education/arts experience)
-Strong organizational & communication skills (bilingual a plus!)
-Ability to work with diverse groups and inspire creativity in all ages
-Must have valid Florida driver's license
-Must be flexible, motivated, and passionate about community outreach.
