About the Event
Get ready to invent, build, and imagine at Junk Lab, Resource Depot’s open-ended creative time! Each week, kids dive into our treasure trove of upcycled materials for an afternoon of tinkering, constructing, and exploring new ideas.
Each week features a new material theme and stARTer prompts to spark imagination—what kids create from there is entirely up to them! From building robots from boxes to crafting plastic bottle spaceships or dreaming up something entirely original, Junk Lab is all about hands-on fun and fearless experimenting with creative reuse.
This week is Plastics in Paradise- Use plastic containers, bits, and doodads to create!
Parents are welcome to drop off children in grades K–5 or stay a bit to create alongside them during the Junk Lab fun.
Come for one session or join us all summer!
Advanced registration required. Registration Closes Tuesday, July 8th at 12pm. No experience necessary and all materials provided.
