About the Event
Get ready to invent, build, and imagine at Junk Lab, Resource Depot’s open-ended creative time! Kids dive into our treasure trove of upcycled materials for an afternoon of tinkering, constructing, and exploring new ideas.
Each Junk Lab features a new material theme and stARTer prompts to spark imagination—what kids create from there is entirely up to them! From building robots from boxes to crafting plastic bottle spaceships or dreaming up something entirely original, Junk Lab is all about hands-on fun and fearless experimenting with creative reuse.
This Week we are doing Fabric Fun- Use fabric to create a collage or mini soft sculptures!
Parents are welcome to drop off children in grades K–5 or stay a bit to create alongside them during the Junk Lab fun.
Come for one session or join multiple!
Advanced registration required. Registration Closes Tuesday, October21 at 12pm. No experience necessary and all materials provided.
