Junk Hour: Cardboard City

Junk Hour aims to develop imagination and love for the environment in a fun, hands-on way that is unique to Resource Depot! In this week's workshop we will build a city together! Cardboard boxes and tubes, what can you make to be part of this city scape? Can you design a better city, a city of the future? What will you contribute? A pool, library, tennis court, park, buildings? You decide what to build, and how to decorate. You can take what you make or leave it.

All our Junk Hours are open-ended summer classes, featuring 6 different workshops. Each workshop is from 10am-12pm and will have different themes to engage students with upcycled materials and open-ended play. Participants may choose to leave their creation or take part of it home at the end of each class. Students can work together or on their own to create each week's theme.​…
