About the Event
Meet The Artists, enjoy their art, as well as live music from Steve Linden with his upcycled instruments, National Geographic Collage activity upstairs with Waste to Wonder Artists Madison (Mad.E), and light refreshments. Participation in the collage activity "The Expedition" would you become 1 of 10,000 contributors to a worldwide installation. First milestone is 1,000 collages to be submitted to the National Geographic Museum in Washington, D.C., for its 2027 reopening. Madison (Mad.E) has already collected over 400 works, and become part of this fun project during our opening and see what others have made in the exhibition.
Free and open to the public. $10 donation appreciated.
The 8th Annual Waste to Wonder juried group exhibition features 21 artists and showcases their adept skill in transforming discarded and overlooked items. These artists draw inspiration from Resource Depot's diverse collection of rescued materials, using them as the driving force behind their distinctive artworks on display.
