Family GalleRE Workshop: Digital Doppelgängers

Inspired by Mike Silverman’s exhibition Tech Soul: Art from Digital Detritus, families are invited to explore the fun side of technology’s leftovers! Using CDs, cords, repurposed technology scrap and repurposed materials, participants will create imaginative self portrait collages that sparkle with personality.

This hands-on workshop celebrates the way discarded objects can be transformed into art that reflects who we are. Together, we’ll give “digital detritus” a new life as playful faces full of character and charm.

This workshop is intended for families creating together, the price of workshop is for parent/guardians and their children, no more than 4 people per ticket, $15 per ticket. Advanced registration required; space is limited.  (Ages 5+)

Registration closes Friday, October 24 at 12pm.

Participants will walk away with the upcycled projects they create. Due to time restraints a family should work together one or two projects. All materials provided.
