About the Event
Join Entangled and Ingested artist Dr. Katharine Owens for a hands-on collaborative workshop to take part in creating her monumental 80-foot Fin Whale portrait, created to raise awareness about the impact of plastic pollution on ocean wildlife. Utilizing reclaimed and repurposed materials from Resource Depot, participants will work together to help build sections of this larger-than-life artwork while learning about the environmental issues that inspired it. With guidance from the artist, each participant will contribute their own creative touch to the piece and sign the back, becoming a lasting part of the project’s story. This workshop is open to all ages. No experience necessary and all materials provided. Drop in any time from 10 AM - 1:30 PM. Resource Depot closes at 2 PM.
