About the Event

Help us create a collaborative public art installation built on reclaimed surfboards, using found plastics, bottle caps, and other discarded materials. The finished installation will debut at Resource Depot’s booth in Jack Johnson’s Nonprofit Village during his August 18th concert at iThink Amphitheatre, before becoming a permanent installation at Resource Depot. No experience is necessary—just bring your creativity.
At 6:15 p.m., enjoy a screening of The Smog of the Sea, a short documentary that chronicles a research expedition through the Sargasso Sea and makes an artful call to action for rethinking single-use plastic featuring Jack Johnson and friends.
Suggested donation: $25 per person - Includes one entry to win two tickets to Jack’s August 18 concert.
Double your impact! All contributions support Resource Depot’s creative reuse and environmental education programs, with matching support from the All At Once Foundation up to $2,500.
