About the Event
The Sew for Sustainability project is a creative CHANGE-MAKER for the community to begin to reduce the troubling amount of single-use plastic bags in our environment by creating handmade reusable bags from reclaimed fabric donations.
The project supports Resource Depot’s most basic educational message: refuse a one-use, throw-away lifestyle and choose sustainable solutions through repurposing and creative reuse. Learn to make a bag with us on the spot, and take it home with you. No exprience nessary.
