REthink Transportation

As part of our Up-Cycle Art Bike Exhibition at our GalleRE this month, we are embracing the most environmentally friendly mode of transportation: Cycling! 

The community bike ride will begin at Resource Depot at 4pm (pedals up at 4pm, so please arrive a little early!). Then we will take you on a tour of some of our favorite places in the area. Check out our route here! Please bring your own bicycle, safety equipment (helmets, lights, and reflective gear are all encouraged!), and water bottle!

While attendance at this event is free of charge, we kindly encourage a voluntary contribution of $5 to Resource Depot's scholarship fund, which helps facilitate the engagement of underprivileged families in our programs. 

Last month, we lost a beloved community member, Samuel Henry "Jack" Hairston III. We know Jack would've loved to come on our community ride, so we will be bringing him with us in spirit and photograph. We will pay tribute to our neighbor and friend by saying a few words before our ride.
