About the Event
During our “Shoebox Monster Takedown” workshop, families can defeat cardboard creatures using teamwork, imagination, and play. You’ll have access to the tools and materials you need to create and play with your shoebox monster! This workshop is intended for families creating together.
The price of the workshop is for parent/guardians and their children (no more than 4 people per ticket).
Advanced registration required. Registration Closes Friday, September 27th at 12pm. No experience Necessary and all materials provided. Ages 6+
“Shoebox Monster Takedown” is a family workshop meant to impower kids to create, as well as provide parents with a chance to connect with their children through play. Families will work together to design a take-home slingshot game inspired by their imaginary creature.
This activity also aims to teach kids about upcycling in a fun and hands-on way by using common materials like shoeboxes, bottle caps, corks, and more!
