Family GalleRE Workshop: Upcycled Nests with Kristen Miller

Birds are the original upcyclers! They have the unique ability to slowly build nests for their home. They gather and work to build a stable space out of the natural materials that they find. Using pencils as our twigs and upcycled collaged materials such as yarn, embroidery thread and found paper, participants will create their own series of nest drawings. Drawings can be representational or question abstract ideas of the home. GalleRE Artist Kristen Miller will help guide participants. Families will walk away with their own nest drawing and creations. (Recommended for Ages 5+)

This workshop is intended for families creating together, the price of workshop is for parent/guardians and their children, no more than 4 people per ticket, $25 per ticket. All materials provided and no experience necessary. Advanced registration required; space is limited.
