Artists Workshop: Studio Marathon With Amy S. Broderick

The Studio Marathon is an opportunity to generate new ideas in a vibrant, supportive, fearless environment. Participants will work alongside one another to identify key themes in their current creative practice and to explore new ideas, develop their strengths, and open new possibilities. We will work quickly, experimentally, and with open minds as we pursue both beloved and new materials, subjects, concepts, and solutions. The studio marathon is an exercise that prioritizes working fast and taking risks, while also exploring familiar topics and making finished pieces. We will aim to make 40 – 50 finished works, each one no larger than the open palm of our hand or our closed fist (this is not a firm limit, but a recommendation).
