Connect & Create:  Field Trips & Outreach Opportunities

At Resource Depot, we're all about teaching creative reuse!  We offer our field trip program to students from preschool to high school age, and field trips for teachers.  Groups from public or private schools, preschools, & youth organizations are welcome - at either our location or yours. We are currently scheduling for Virtual field trips. 

Resource Depot is a Palm Beach County School District busing approved field trip for K-12 grade. 


Schools Participating in the Green Schools Recognition Program, can use your experience with RD on your application!

Visit & Make

Tour our Materials Marketplace and GalleRE space. Environmental 
Discussion, Make and Take Activity with reused materials. 

Field Trip duration approx. 1 - 1.5 hours.

Can be modified for almost any age.

$5 per student

Up to 10 students = $50

Maximum capacity is 30 students

Mobile Field Trip - We Come To You! Environmental Discussion, 
Make and Take Activity with reused materials. 

Field Trip duration approx. 1 - 1.5 hours.

Can be modified for almost any age.

$7 Per student

Professional Development

Tour our Materials Marketplace and GalleRE space. Environmental discussion focused on reuse advocacy. Teachers will walk away with tips for greening their classroom and a project plan.


 

Field Trip duration approx. 1.5-2 hours. 
 

$5 per person

Up to 10 teachers = $50

Maximum capacity is 30 teachers

Discounts may apply when booking multiple groups. If you're a Resource Depot member, take $15 off your field trip fee.

Payment for your workshop is due during the month in which it occurs. Please remit payment to Resource Depot via check, or by credit card

 

Teen In-Service Field Trip

Tour our Materials Marketplace, environmental discussion and volunteer activity: like sorting donated items, helping us stock or

complete a project. Students will receive community service hours.

Field trip duration determined when scheduled.
