SIGNAL HOUSE
Grant cycle: 2015-2016

April is for Authors, with partnerships with Oxbridge Academy, Timber Trace
Elementary School, and The Conservatory School in North Palm Beach.
Resource Depot presents Signal House, a site specific, interactive art
installation by Brooklyn-based artist Alex Branch. Composed of all
repurposed materials collected at Resource Depot, this interactive structure
was created in an underutilized outdoor space at the rear of Resource Depot's
building. Beyond being an art piece in & of itself, Signal House is also designed
to become a vehicle to house performances, demonstrations & workshops
this spring. Visitors can interact with the various musical components that
have been created by Alex within the structure and surrounding yard
and are encouraged to contribute their own creations!
